NOT IN THE NEWS
The media, like our minds, is easily distracted. Sensationalism is taking over our brains. If you search for something important, videos of cute girls prancing around. or big trucks crashing into each other or clowns dancing with machine guns, will litter your search. It takes steal like concentration to really get to the end of a complete thought. This is the downfall of humanity. We are not pay attention to the real issues.
War is terrible, the Olympics are amazing, the drama is ongoing but what is the crucial issues to pay attention to? Well, they are not on the news. Because the real issues take concentration to comprehend, and that takes effort, and that is not entertaining. All media is about keeping your mind entertained.
One must take a walk and have time to really put the pieces of the puzzle together. Time, (like alone with quiet) who wants to do that? Hippies in the woods want that.
But if you don’t have time to contemplate, you can read this handy-dandy blog to get just a synopsis of brain synapsis.
For one, the oil industry. Everyone keeps complaining about the government, but it is not the system, it is who is controlling the system. The oil industry dressed in the boots of capitalism with a cloak of Christianity has its hands deep in the system. Until the oil industry dies – I mean really dies, and capitalism is abandoned as an ideal, we will not see progress.
Unfortunately, when (not if) the industry completely crumbles so will our whole world of convenience also die. The way we grow, ship, and package food will stop. Traveling will be minimal. Every plastic piece of sh*t will be unavailable. But the real race is what will die first- our lifestyle of oil or the Earth. It is a neck and neck race, but my bet is the oil will run out first because the Earth is very patient.
What’s on the news? Gas prices are going up! How will we survive? It’s Russia’s fault.
For two, genetic engineering and poisoning the soil. Mutants that survive high levels of poisons are our future. We will probably start genetically modifying ourselves to handle all the round-up we spray on our food. Life will have to adapt to poisonous soil. All our plant and bugs and animals will be lumpy with cancer. As we skip along spraying poisons all over the prime agricultural areas of this planet, we create a future of soil that is inundated with pesticides and chemical fertilizer.
Studies have found glyphosate (Round-up) in mother’s milk around the world - even in mothers of remote populations. What does glyphosate do? Well, I don’t think we are going to find a cure for cancer.
What’s on the news? Cannabis in baby food! Ordering meals on Amazon. Get your pudding packs here – it tastes almost like real pudding.
For three, AI (artificial Intelligence). Wow, isn’t great that we can talk to our stereos? And how about that vacuum that comes out when we aren’t home to clean the rugs? We love this AI. I’m sure that the military loves AI too. We don’t need to wonder about what they are creating; just watch a few movies and you can see how much fun it’s going to be when they perfect remote control with virtual reality equipment and AI. No need for human police or military. It will be fine, as long as you are not protesting anything, and you are in compliance.
On the news- Eye imaging for self-driving cars and face recognition for phones and on doors to buildings.
