COURAGE TO FACE THE SQUARE PARADIGM

It seems insane, the things we have to protest. Basically pleading with the powers that be to not destroy the planet, and let people have basic rights and equality. Doesn’t seem like a lot but yet, there is a mountain to climb to get there.

Like Voldemort, he who’s name cannot be spoken because it gives us the willies just to say it, is the very epitome of all that is wrong with humanity. And yet he is not only running the USA, he is loved by many and some of those people are our relatives! This may be enough to create a deep pit of hopelessness within the enlightened mind.

But we must look at the bigger picture; the karmic wheels are grinding hard right now. We must let the irony play out because there are many who need to see what their belief systems are creating. The divine theater of the absurd has to have its day so that we can learn from our mistakes. Gun-toting racism has been part of the US since the beginning, it will take a while to uproot that. The puss is coming to the surface and it is hard to watch the infection explode, but it is part of the healing process.

The pendulum swings out far and then swings back hard. As we swing from the first black president to swinging backwards to a capitalist pig, we are dazed that it could go back so far. It will swing again- probably to the first woman president. And the pendulum will swing back hard again, because the rule of the rich, white, male fascist will take time to undo.

So in this world of so much suffering because of ignorance, we must find a steady foot hold of equanimity. Pursue grounding and as an end to itself. Take a time away from anger and frustration to feel content. We are playing the long game so pace yourself.
