ABSENCE MAKES THE HEART GROW FONDER
Sometimes when things are taken away, we appreciate them more. This is why it is unrealistic to think that our rights will be stripped away forever. The Capitalist Pigs are trying their damndest to keep their hoard of white-oil-agribusiness-Christianity going but the literal tides are changing and as their power slips away, fundamentalism rears its ugly head.
The pendulum swings and as we are pulled off course it makes us fight harder for more secure rights. This democracy has been not working well for years. Upheaval is a good thing when the scum rises to the top and we can see it clearly. Even though the clouds of greed are obscuring democracy, the Capitalist Pigs will lose in the long run because-
-Georga. Once a population sees that they can make a difference and have won, they will fight harder to keep that power. We just witnessed with the last election that states can flip if given real free accessible voting.
-The Constitution. We have already lived centuries with dictators. No one likes that system any longer. We are the icon of democracy. If it isn’t working here where on Earth will it work? If our Democracy crumbles into a facade so will the rest of the world follow suit because every rich a-hole will seize power in the same manner.
-Desperate Redistricting. The very fact that it is so neck and neck and that the Pigs must rig states to win shows that they are not in the majority.
-Global warming crisis. Much of our population is living with their heads up their armpits. As the emergency progresses people will have to acknowledge that we are in deep water and the Pigs will lose their support and their investments.
Here are some tips from Doctor Martin Luther King Jr., our spiritual guide.
-Never lose hope in the face of great obstacles.
-Strive always for justice.
-Balance tenacity and the long view with fierce urgency to now.
-Challenge moderates who prefer peace as the absence of tension. Choose peace which is the presence of justice.
-Act boldly and with love.
It doesn’t take a fortune-teller to see reality will prevail. But it is up to us to shape the future. The systems will only work if mediocrity is wiped out and true democracy prevails.
